The Peterson Nature Area has two weather stations. One is
located on the west side of the research facility on top of the MBR Building
and the other is located on the east side of the Nature Area on top of a 15
foot wildlife observation tower. Both weather stations download collected
weather data every ten minutes to their respective computer servers. The
weather computers generate the needed code that is uploaded to the Nature
Area web severs. As a result, the weather web pages are updated every 10
minutes. For a number of technical reasons the east side weather station is more reliable and stable than the older weather station located on the MBR building. Just click the following links to their respective weather stations.
